Links and Partners
Partners from the Business and Education sectors as well as the Creative Industries are vital to the success of Show of Strength productions. Support from our partners is often ‘In Kind’ (perhaps as provision of space for rehearsals or performance), as technical skills and time, or donations of equipment.
Education partners enable students to access real opportunities in the theatre sector while offering SOS a professionally trained people resource.
Partnerships with Theatre Companies and other creative industries across the region and further afield enable the sharing of skills and resources and opportunities to develop the theatre ecology, the practitoners and the audiences.
Financial support comes from Bristol City Council who recognise SOS as a key arts provider and make a contribution to the company’s running costs. Arts Council South West fund specific projects and SOS applies to trusts and other funders whose aims and objectives match those of proposed developments and productions.
