We’re working with the brilliant team at M Shed to take you back to the 1950s — the heyday of Bristol docks.

Meet docks administrator Sheila Purnell (Corrinne Curtis) and her husband George (Gerard Cooke), the foreman. Their ‘Tin’ wedding anniversary is coming up — but has George chosen the right gift?

Enjoy a full weekend of activity including:

• Cargo handling demonstrations
• Dockers’ nicknames explained
• Traditional printing methods
• Trips up the Electric Cranes
• Boat rides on M Shed’s heritage vessels
